Overview:
After working for many years in the Telephony and Technology industry, and having met and spoken to many over the years, I have come to realise that the telecommunications network is still a mystery to many and it all sounds too complicated to most. Some have mentioned that discussing their telecommunication needs and issues with their service providers is like speaking a foreign language, filled with acronyms and technical jargon.
Here I have tried to provide some simple explainations and instructions on how to address common issues to do with our telephones. I have briefly covered common topics such as PSTN, Centrex, ISDN, Pabx and UTP cabling. The information here is intended for simple folk looking for explainations in layman's terms. I hope you find this site to be useful as it is intended to be an educational tool. I will continue to add to this site as time progresses and include topics such as SIP, VoIP, and Mobile.
To the best of my knowledge, all of the information on this site is correct, and it is provided in hope that it will be useful. However, I assume no liability for any damages, direct or otherwise, resulting from the use of this information, and no warranty is made regarding its accuracy. Use this information at your own risk.
